Ordered take out directly from their website. Got home and found hair in my pasta. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta which was mediocre (had some before I saw hair), and the bread that came with it was rock solid and inedible.
I called them to request a refund due to the hair, and they told me to call Door Dash who they direct their online orders through. This is a reasonable request from them, except I don't have the app, and all their texts and receipts about the order gave me the restaurant's phone number. I called the restaurant again to ask for help contacting Door Dash. Before the manager got on the phone, him and the hostess bickered in the background about how they didn't want to talk to me because they didn't know what to do. Then the manager got on the phone and told me again that they don't have any numbers for Door Dash and he couldn't help me in any way (I imagine he could've offered a gift card for the amount for the restaurant..). Ended up wasting twenty minutes of my time finding a contact number for DD, being on hold, and then was told by DD that they'd email me about the issue. So no resolution.
Had a terrible experience. The food wasn't good, the sanitation clearly isn't great, their staff was rude and unhelpful, and I'm not sure why they don't have information on their third party vendors if they run their online business through them.
There were only 4 tables of people in the entire restaurant, and the service was still awful. We had about 12 people, and it took over an hour and 20 minutes to get the food. Bread was asked for multiple times after the initial serving and was told it was coming, but after 2 hours and we had finished our meals, it never came. Anything we wanted, we had to wave down the waitress to ask for, and there was only one time the waitress asked if we needed anything. We also had to refill our own drinks. For an expensive place like this, it should have had much better service. And if they can't get orders out fast with only 4 tables, then I'd hate to see how long it takes them when it's very full.
The food was very good. They ran out of bread and they gave only 5 small pieces of bread for the spinach and artichoke dip. We asked for more bread for the dip and only got 3 more.
Had a really delightful lunch here! I ordered the half chicken sandwich with lobster bisque. It was very fresh and delicious. Others ordered the eggplant Parmesan and the Caesar salad with Italian wedding soup and everyone said it was delicious. Our server was so kind and the restaurant itself had a very light, bright aesthetic. Looking forward to when it comes to North Hills, too!
So happy one of our favorite restaurants from Ohio is now also in NC! We visited on a Sunday evening and the place was filled. Love the aesthetics of the renovated restaurant - lots of cozy booths and banquettes. Nice lighting and ambiance …
My friend and I went for happy hour yesterday and sat at the bar. They were out of limoncello so any drink with that you couldn’t get. We noticed other people were served bread and oil, we never received any. I ordered an aperol spritz and it didn’t come with any of the garnishes (orange peel and rosemary) that were listed on the menu. We ordered appetizers and I don’t think the food was served hot enough (except the spinach artichoke dip which came straight out the oven but that doesn’t come with enough bread pieces for the amount of dip you get). If you order appetizers for happy hour double check your bill because we did not automatically receive the discount that was stated on the menu. Fortunately, we noticed the mistake and had it rectified by the manager after a bit of a wait. Additionally, the arancini, which is listed at $13 on the menu, was ringing up for $15. Not sure what’s going on here but definitely look over your bill before paying. The tiramisu was amazing though. Would definitely recommend that!
We tried out the restaurant after seeing the nice scenery outside with the fire pit as we were leaving Trader Joe’s. My partner and I are so glad that we chose this spot for dinner, Alyssa was our waitress and she made sure that we were taken care of, our food and drinks came out quickly. The two managers spoke to us and were also very friendly ! The food was amazing & SO flavorful. I loved that the atmosphere was nice & laid back, simple but yet elegant. The prices were reasonable as well ! We will definitely be back !!
Excellent menu. Very good quality food, and nice variety. Also the layout is great - the outdoor patio area is really nice in the late spring and summer.
Unfortunately the service is hit or miss. I have had good service but I’ve also had very bad service (for example last week when I came in the server was in a huge hurry at all times to the extent they dropped off new plates on top of existing ones rather than take away the old ones first - they literally just tossed the new plate on top of a dirty old plate- stacked them at the table and left).
